What is Philanthropy Systems
The Philanthropy System is fundamentally a method of cultivating and soliciting large dollar donations. Too often, contributions are lost or delayed because the donor and the fundraiser are misaligned in the giving process. Philanthropy Systems core belief is that successful fundraisers guide the donor through a giving journey. Most fundraisers have experienced this (that great donor who gave a lot quickly and was responsive to every call and email you sent). Philanthropy Systems provides fundraisers a step-by-step framework to have those great donors more often.
Is Philanthropy Systems that much different from what we do today?

Yes, we believe so. The Philanthropy Systems methodology is an adoption of several models used by the largest corporations in the world to secure large dollar transactions. The nonprofit sector can learn from the techniques used by large technology companies, financial institutions, other Fortune 500 companies on 1) what journey people go through when making large dollar decisions, 2) that successful professionals guide the customers through the journey, 3) how to gain access to power, 4) negotiating to win/win outcomes.

What services does Philanthropy Systems provide?
Philanthropy System provides four services to nonprofit organizations that want to be more successful in cultivating and soliciting transformational and major donors:

1. Teach Open Workshops to fundraisers and team leaders. Open Workshops provide a step-by-step foundation for fundraisers to follow (along with templates) to improve performance at the major and transformational gift levels.

2. Organization-specific workshops. Similar to Open Workshops, but customized for one organization (templates more specific, case studies about actual prospects).

3. Implement the system enterprise-wide. We work with teams who want a comprehensive process, from initial outreach to board forecasting to a coaching framework. We work with your leadership to implement the Philanthropy System framework.
4. On-going services: Post-implementation, on-going support, including database, prospect research, and other services critical to successful implementation.
